The Role of Safety Supervisor

Proger *** is seeking a Safety Supervisor to implement, monitor, and enforce health and safety standards across construction sites. This full-time role requires a strong technical background in mechanical or electrical engineering, coupled with proven site experience and accredited safety certifications. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with local regulations, international safety standards, and company HSE policies within the Riyadh region of Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and enforce health and safety policies on construction sites.
• Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, project safety plans, and international HSE standards.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor adherence to safety requirements.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, then implement corrective actions.
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training for site personnel.
• Prepare safety reports, records, and documentation as required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or a diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Accredited certificate from NASP (International Safety Organization) along with a NASP membership card, OR an accredited certificate from OSHA (40 hours) along with an OSHA membership card.

Experience and Work Type

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a safety supervision role, particularly within construction environments. This is a full-time position.
