Senior DevOps Engineer at Gathern

Gathern is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to streamlining software delivery and fostering collaboration between development and operations. The position focuses on enhancing efficiency, improving quality, and accelerating innovation through automation, continuous integration/deployment, and shared responsibility.

Core Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and automated software delivery.
• Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) to provision, configure, and scale resources reliably.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to integrate testing, security, and deployment processes.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure for scalability and reliability.
• Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS) and container orchestration (*, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Enforce security best practices, compliance standards, and disaster recovery strategies within infrastructure.
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure setup, deployment procedures, and incident response protocols.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve DevOps practices.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 4-6 years of experience in a relevant DevOps engineering role. Proficiency in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation tools is essential. Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS, and container orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is required.
