About the Role

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a Senior ELV/ICT Engineer to join its Project Management Consultancy team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to a prestigious project, focusing on the comprehensive management and oversight of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) and Information & Communication Technology (ICT) systems.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to manage, review, and ensure the compliance of all ELV and ICT systems across the infrastructure package. This involves ensuring strict alignment with project specifications, client requirements, and international standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the design review, coordination, and implementation of ELV/ICT systems, including CCTV, access control, structured cabling, public address, BMS integration, and data networks, across the infrastructure package.
• Ensure that contractor’s work consistently complies with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.
• Review and approve ELV/ICT design drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of ELV/ICT systems with civil, MEP, and architectural works.
• Monitor site activities, conduct thorough inspections, and raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when necessary to maintain compliance and quality standards.
• Assist in the resolution of technical issues, Requests for Information (RFIs), and design conflicts related to ELV/ICT systems.
• Support the testing, commissioning, and handover processes for all ELV/ICT systems.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and inspectors within the team.
• Liaise with the client, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication and ensure timely project delivery.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in ELV/ICT engineering, preferably within a project management consultancy environment or a similar capacity. A strong understanding of ELV/ICT systems, project specifications, and international standards is essential.
