About DeepSource and the Role

DeepSource is seeking a Senior IT Security Operation Architect to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to enhancing our enterprise security posture through strategic design and governance of security operations.

Role Summary

The Senior IT Security Operation Architect is responsible for designing, building, and governing the overarching security operations framework, including the Security Operations Center (SOC) architecture and threat mitigation strategies. This role spans across our enterprise hybrid infrastructure, ensuring operational security systems such as SIEM/SOAR, EDR, IAM, and Network Defense are aligned with business goals, cloud environments, and national compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable security architectures for enterprise hybrid environments (On-Premises, AWS, Azure), integrating Zero Trust models and operational security controls.
• Build and optimize Security Operations Center (SOC) workflows, automation playbooks (SOAR), and SIEM architecture to reduce incident response time and eliminate operational fatigue.
• Architect the deployment and lifecycle management of Next-Gen Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet), EDR/XDR ecosystems, PAM, and Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools.
• Establish proactive threat-hunting programs, red/blue team operational alignment, and high-availability disaster recovery frameworks.
• Ensure all operational security designs strictly comply with local regulatory frameworks (NCA-ECC, SAMA CSF) and global standards (ISO 27001, NIST).

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Higher Diploma.
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in IT security operations or architecture.
