About the Role at Qiddiya

Qiddiya is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to manage all aspects of litigation, arbitration, mediation, and other dispute resolution matters. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, within the Riyadh Province, and is integral to the company's legal operations.

Role Overview

The Senior Legal Counsel will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and developing comprehensive strategies to address legal disputes. A core function of this role is to ensure strict compliance with all legal governance requirements, thereby safeguarding Qiddiya's interests and operational integrity.

Key Duties and Accountabilities

• Manage litigation, arbitration, mediation, and other dispute resolution matters.
• Provide legal advice on disputes, claims, and regulatory investigations.
• Develop dispute resolution strategies and assess associated legal risks.
• Review legal notices, pleadings, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
• Manage and oversee external counsel, including performance and legal spend.
• Support negotiations and pursue early resolution where appropriate.
• Monitor legal developments and advise on their potential business impact.
• Maintain dispute reporting and ensure compliance with legal governance requirements.
• Deliver legal awareness and dispute prevention guidance to business stakeholders.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Senior Legal Counsel position must possess over 10 years of relevant legal experience, demonstrating a proven track record in managing complex legal disputes and providing strategic legal counsel.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time role situated in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will operate within a professional and dynamic legal department, contributing to the strategic objectives of Qiddiya.
