Senior Legal Specialist

About the Opportunity

Ninja 🥷🏽 نينجا is seeking a Senior Legal Specialist to join our Legal Affairs team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on the comprehensive management of commercial contracts and agreements, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiation. The specialist will also be responsible for providing crucial legal and commercial risk advice to various business stakeholders within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a diverse range of commercial contracts and agreements.
• Identify and provide advice on legal and commercial risks inherent in contractual documents.
• Offer legal counsel to business units regarding contractual matters.
• Support complex and high-value contract negotiations.
• Maintain accurate contract records, including approvals, renewals, and key contractual terms.
• Develop and update standard contract templates and playbooks.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external legal counsel as required.
• Assist in dispute resolution processes related to contractual issues.
• Mentor junior Legal Specialists and contribute to the continuous improvement of contract processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB).
• 4-7 years of experience in contract law, commercial law, or in-house legal practice.
• Strong hands-on experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Demonstrated experience in providing legal advice and assessing contractual risks.

Required Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in negotiation.
• Effective stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in the E-commerce, Technology, or Retail sectors.
• Experience within a holding company or multi-entity environment.
• Possession of a legal practice license.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the Legal Affairs team of Ninja 🥷🏽 نينجا. The role involves collaboration with various internal business units and external legal counsel.
