About the Role

Qiddiya | القدية is seeking a Senior Manager - Financial Planning and Analysis to join their team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time position requires a professional with over 10 years of experience to lead financial governance and strategic insights for projects.

Role Overview

The Senior Manager will oversee project controls and financial governance for assigned projects or portfolios. This involves ensuring rigorous management of contracts, budgets, schedules, risks, and reporting. The role is critical in providing strategic financial direction, reinforcing control frameworks, and supporting senior leadership in making informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage contract variations, change orders, and claims for extensions of time or cost, ensuring proper evaluation, documentation, approvals, and reporting.
• Oversee the utilization of project contingencies and provisional sums to maintain disciplined budget control and alignment with approved business cases.
• Direct cost monitoring, forecasting, and variance analysis, providing clear insights and mitigation strategies to senior management.
• Ensure the integrity and reconciliation of data across systems including SAP, Primavera P6, Unifier, and BIM.
• Oversee monthly accrual reviews and financial close activities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Provide high-level oversight of schedule changes and their integrated cost and schedule impacts.
• Lead risk and opportunity reviews, ensuring timely identification, assessment, and escalation of key exposures.
• Act as a senior liaison between Finance, Commercial, and Project Delivery teams to ensure transparency and alignment.
• Mentor and guide project controls teams, promoting governance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Working knowledge or certification in project tools such as Primavera, P6, Unifier, and the SAP Project module.
• 8+ years of experience in Project Controls, or Development Finance within a large construction company, large developer, or PMC.

Preferred Professional Certifications

• Professional certifications such as CPA or MBA are preferred.
• Certificate in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution – RICS or similar are preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred.
