Role Summary

The Senior Mechanic will be responsible for executing a comprehensive range of mechanical maintenance tasks, encompassing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs. This role requires a meticulous approach to monitoring equipment performance and ensuring all activities comply with established operational and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and emergency mechanical maintenance work in strict adherence to approved company policies and procedures.
• Monitor the performance of production units to ensure they operate within designated operational limits, reporting any observations that may affect equipment efficiency.
• Identify the necessary tools and equipment for maintenance, assess their readiness, and carry out preventive maintenance to ensure their continuous availability.
• Organize and store maintenance tools in their designated locations, maintain them properly, and ensure the correct disposal of maintenance waste.
• Execute mechanical repair work, including welding, cutting, and refurbishing replaced parts to ensure their readiness and efficiency.
• Comply with all safety procedures before commencing work, including verifying necessary permits and lockout/tagout forms.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any related technical field.
