About the Opportunity

Cornerstone Global Partners (CGP Group) is collaborating with a multinational pharmaceutical company to establish its Medical Affairs team in Saudi Arabia. This initiative precedes an upcoming product launch, representing a foundational phase rather than a replacement hire. The company is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison to join this team, based in Riyadh or Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Role Context and Focus

This full-time role offers the opportunity to be part of the early medical footprint within the Kingdom. The Senior Medical Science Liaison will play a key role in shaping the local scientific engagement model. The therapeutic focus for this position includes Rare Diseases, Oncology, Immunology, or Neuroscience.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage scientifically with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and treating physicians across the assigned region.
• Lead and support pre-launch medical activities, including insight generation, organizing advisory boards, and ensuring scientific platform readiness.
• Contribute to local evidence generation and real-world data initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with Market Access, Regulatory, and Commercial teams within a launch context.
• Contribute to the development of the local medical strategy, moving beyond the execution of a predefined playbook.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for this Senior Medical Science Liaison position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly within Medical Affairs or a similar scientific engagement role.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh or Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role involves contributing to a new team within a dynamic market.
