The Role of Senior Sales Manager

The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales performance and managing client relationships within the assigned territory in Riyadh, Riyadh. This is a full-time position requiring a proactive approach to sales generation, negotiation, and customer satisfaction. The role involves close coordination with internal departments to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Achieve budget targets for incoming orders, invoicing, and contribution margin.
Support the collection team in securing payments.
Generate and develop inquiries through direct and indirect sales activities to produce clear and effective client quotations.
Follow up on issued quotations and negotiate with clients to convert them into orders.
Monitor new and open sales orders, including approval processes, document tracking, and other requirements.
Ensure complete and proper handover of documents and information to internal departments (projects, technical, commercial) for seamless delivery and project execution.
Coordinate sales efforts with other departments (contracts, technical, estimation, projects) to ensure orders are processed.
Develop and maintain business relationships with current clients and prospects in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business.
Focus sales efforts by analyzing the existing and potential volume of dealers.
Expedite the resolution of customer requirements, problems, and complaints.
Respond to customer complaints in a timely manner.
Analyze market potential and determine the value of existing and prospective clients.
Plan and organize personal sales strategy to maximize Return on Time Investment.
Keep management informed by submitting weekly/monthly activity reports and annual territory client analyses.
Register all visits, calls, new leads, opportunities, and sales activities on the CRM system.
Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
Submit requested reports by management (forecast, budget, sales, market information) on time.

Candidate Requirements

A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant sales role.
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Strong negotiation and client relationship management skills.
Proficiency in using CRM systems for sales activity tracking and reporting.
Ability to analyze market data and develop effective sales strategies.
Excellent communication and coordination skills for internal and external stakeholders.
