About the Role

The Senior Strategy Specialist at Abunayyan Holding, based in Riyadh, plays a crucial role in developing, enhancing, and monitoring all strategic aspects across the company's Strategic Business Units (SBUs) and Abunayyan Holding Company (AHC). This full-time position involves providing strategic training to various SBUs and analyzing the performance of strategy deployment to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.

Strategy Planning Responsibilities

• Assess the internal and external company environment through various analyses, including SWOT and PESTEL.
• Analyze financial results to inform the strategy formulation process.
• Conduct thorough market research and analysis in coordination with SBUs to identify growth opportunities, assess market potential, and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with the executive team to define SBU strategic objectives and develop actionable plans, initiatives, and KPIs for achievement and control.
• Prepare periodical market intelligence reports to support AHC SBUs' growth strategies.
• Conduct benchmarking studies at the SBU level to analyze competitor performance against AHC and SBU performance.
• Develop and implement a strategic risk register for potential impacts on corporate strategy, along with mitigation plans.
• Assist in developing Go-To-Market strategies for new SBUs, business lines, and products.
• Manage the governance of the strategy planning and formulation process.

Strategy Execution Responsibilities

• Drive the execution of strategic initiatives by working closely with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor the execution of strategic initiatives at AHC and SBU levels on a periodical basis, reporting any delays or variations.
• Provide strategic guidance and serve as an advisor to SBUs by offering strategic insights, analysis, and recommendations.
• Present findings and proposals clearly and concisely to assist in the decision-making process.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the organization.
• Share best practices, industry knowledge, and emerging trends with team members to enhance overall strategic execution capabilities.
• Prepare monthly progress reports on strategy execution for SBUs.
• Manage the governance of the strategy execution process and drive a continuous improvement culture to address and close any process gaps.

Strategy Monitoring and Corporate Performance Management

• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of existing strategies and initiatives.
• Identify areas for improvement and propose data-driven solutions to optimize business performance and drive growth.
• Create an organizational dashboard for impact and organizational effectiveness, and prepare monthly reports.
• Support the investigation process (Root-Cause analysis) and establish required corrective actions for any deviations in strategy deployment.
• Assist in setting and evaluating the performance of AHC-SBU presidents and AHC-function heads against corporate strategy objectives.
• Manage the governance of the corporate performance management process and drive a continuous improvement culture to address and close any process gaps.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in strategy development, execution, and monitoring.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, where the specialist will collaborate with various teams across Abunayyan Holding and its Strategic Business Units to drive strategic initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
