The Opportunity

KEO Group is seeking a Senior Transportation Engineer to join its Infrastructure team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves developing traffic and transportation designs as part of an award-winning team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Access and Circulation Studies, Transportation Impact Studies, and Transportation Master Plans.
• Develop traffic survey data reports.
• Assess intersection operation and develop improvement measures using SYNCHRO, Sidra, and HCS.
• Support the development and interrogation of strategic and micro-simulation transport models, including VISUM and VISSIM.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and approving authorities.
• Undertake checks and reviews to ensure work accuracy and adherence to engineering principles and standards.
• Mentor junior staff members.
• Respond to requests for proposals, covering technical approach and financials.
• Develop strong communication and working relationships with colleagues, management, subcontractors, public agencies, and clients.
• Manage personal continuous development and support the development of colleagues.
• Support the development of master plans for new cities and towns.
• Work to client requirements using CUBE & STEAM tools.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Civil Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• More than 10 years of experience in a similar transportation engineering position.
• Proven experience as part of a multidisciplinary team providing transportation advice and solutions on large-scale developments.
• Experience with relevant regulatory bodies such as ITC in Abu Dhabi, RTA in Dubai, MoTC in Qatar, and other GCC regional municipalities.
• Membership of a professional institution is desirable.

Required Skills and Software Proficiency

• Proficiency in transportation software including CUBE/STEAM/VISUM/VISSIM, Synchro, Sidra, HCS, CAD, and Auto-turn.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint and Microsoft Project.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills in English.
