About the Specialist Copywriting Role

Almosafer Travel & Tourism Co is seeking a Specialist Copywriter to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves developing compelling Arabic copy for various brand touchpoints, including social media, CRM journeys, in-app UX, and travel packages. The Specialist Copywriter will be responsible for ensuring all content is on-brand, culturally relevant, and designed for conversion.

Key Responsibilities

• Write original Arabic copy for websites, applications, newsletters, brochures, social media, and paid campaigns.
• Develop travel packages, itineraries, and promotional materials that inspire and convert.
• Create CRM content (email, push, SMS, in-app) tailored to specific audience segments and lifecycle stages.
• Produce UX/UI content, including microcopy, onboarding flows, error states, CTAs, and product screens, in collaboration with product and design teams.
• Utilize AI tools for ideation, drafting, and versioning, and refine AI-generated content to meet brand, cultural, and quality standards.
• Plan and execute copy A/B tests across digital channels, using performance data to enhance messaging.
• Serve as the final approval point for Arabic content, reviewing work from internal writers, agencies, and freelancers.
• Maintain consistent brand voice and tone across all platforms for both Discover Saudi and Mawasim.
• Write clear and concise copy for infographics, flyers, and other brand collateral.
• Act as a key contact across departments (marketing, product, CRM, business, and creative teams), translating briefs into effective messaging and communicating clearly in both Arabic and English.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Media, Communications, Arabic Literature, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of copywriting experience, preferably within a creative or digital agency or a fast-paced environment.
• Proven experience in writing for digital marketing, including social media, CRM, paid, and owned channels.
• Hands-on experience with AI content tools and a defined process for testing and quality-checking their output.
• Familiarity with UX writing principles and content design for digital products.
• Demonstrated track record as a final approver or senior sign-off on content.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in Arabic, with strong attention to detail and cultural nuance.
• Fluency in spoken and written English, with the ability to present ideas, take briefs, and provide feedback across departments and stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of Saudi culture and regional dialects.
• Working knowledge of CMS, SEM, CRM, and social media platforms.
