Splunk Engineer L / L

About the Role

HCLTech is seeking an experienced Splunk Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on the implementation, development, and administration of Splunk Core and Splunk ITSI, particularly within large-scale service provider or enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, develop, and administer Splunk Core and Splunk ITSI solutions.
• Integrate Splunk and Splunk ITSI with various monitoring and third-party tools, including SCOM, CA UIM, and SolarWinds.
• Develop Splunk Dashboards to visualize and report on data.
• Work with High Availability (HA) configurations in complex IT environments.
• Apply strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities to resolve issues.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in Splunk Core and Splunk ITSI implementation, development, and administration.
• Strong knowledge of UNIX and Windows operating systems.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Shell, or VB.
• Experience with monitoring solutions across various domains including Servers, Networks, Storage, Backup, and APM.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, Web Services, XML, and JSON.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing Splunk solutions for large global customers.
• Ability to quickly learn and integrate new monitoring and tools platforms.
• Proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within dynamic enterprise environments, contributing to critical monitoring and operational intelligence initiatives.
