About the Store Manager Role

Apparel Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to oversee daily operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to ensuring a seamless and positive shopping experience for customers, maintaining high store standards, and achieving financial targets within the fashion retail market.

Role Overview

The Store Manager is responsible for the comprehensive management of the store, encompassing financial performance, operational processes, customer satisfaction, and team development. This position requires a strong combination of leadership, organizational capabilities, and a deep understanding of the retail landscape to drive store success and foster a high-performing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the store team to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Manage store shrinkage to remain below * of the cost of sale.
• Conduct regular financial and stock audits, and monitor store expenses and budgets.
• Update, track, and communicate the store dashboard regularly.
• Maintain visual merchandising (VM) standards and oversee day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Set and monitor sales targets, analyze performance, and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and provide constructive feedback.
• Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and security measures to ensure compliance and safety.
• Communicate regularly with higher management regarding store performance, challenges, and opportunities.
• Develop and implement action plans based on performance metrics to drive results.
• Manage back store operations and merchandise replenishment.
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team, including managing employee records and performance.
• Drive the team to achieve Club Apparel, NPS, and DSES goals.
• Maintain relationships with mall management and effectively communicate with the office back-end team.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to exceed expectations.
• Constantly upgrade personal and team skills, identify learning gaps, and create a pipeline for future store managers through training sessions.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess progressive experience in a customer-centric role, demonstrating strong management, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Proven success in enhancing customer engagement and consistently achieving or exceeding sales KPI targets for retail stores is essential.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in retail management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong understanding of fashion retail market dynamics and operational best practices.
