About the Role

DP World is seeking a Telesales Assistant to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed to support our commercial and freight forwarding operations by engaging with potential customers and identifying new sales opportunities. The role is integral to promoting DP World’s comprehensive shipping and logistics services within the region.

Role Purpose

The Telesales Assistant plays a crucial role in expanding our customer base and supporting the sales pipeline. This involves direct outreach to prospective clients, understanding their specific needs, and effectively presenting relevant service offerings. The position requires a proactive approach to lead generation and customer engagement to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct outbound calls to potential clients to promote DP World’s shipping and freight forwarding services.
Understand customer needs and present relevant service offerings accordingly.
Generate and qualify leads to build a robust pipeline for the sales team.
Follow up on inbound inquiries and existing leads to nurture potential opportunities.
Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records within the CRM system.
Schedule meetings for the sales team where necessary to facilitate further engagement.
Gather market intelligence and share customer feedback with relevant internal teams to inform strategy.
Support in the preparation of sales reports and campaign summaries to track performance.

Experience and Requirements

Candidates for this role should possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in telesales, customer service, or a related commercial support function. A proven ability to communicate effectively and identify sales opportunities is essential.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position based in our Riyadh office in Saudi Arabia. The role operates within a dynamic commercial environment, collaborating closely with sales and freight forwarding teams.
