Technician

About the Role

Johnson Controls Arabia is seeking a Technician to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves installing and commissioning system field devices, troubleshooting issues, and responding to warranty calls. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in a relevant technical field.

Key Responsibilities

• Install basic required system field devices.
• Commission systems using standard configuration and commissioning tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
• Respond to basic warranty calls.
• Keep Johnson Controls, contractors, and customers informed of job progress and any issues.
• Correct or resolve issues in existing systems and processes, making minor changes as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• Associate's Degree or Technical Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 4 years of suggested experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver output according to specific operational targets.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Ability to explain facts, practices, and policies to internal and external parties.
• Proficiency in addressing problems and issues within a single job area or discipline, with well-defined scope.
• Capacity to understand and consider other job areas for vaguely defined problems.
• Application of specialized knowledge in commercial, technical, or trade operations.
• Understanding of broad theory and principles within a professional discipline or advanced technical/operational practices.

Work Environment

This is an individual contributor role with no direct responsibility for leading others. The application of knowledge is primarily domestic, limited to locations within the country or neighboring countries with similar cultural contexts.
