About the Opportunity

NTU International A/S is preparing a proposal for a significant project focused on communication outreach and engagement regarding EU policies. In this context, the company is establishing a pool of qualified Translators / Interpreters to serve as Non-Key Experts. These part-time, on-demand roles will be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, supporting project implementation over a 36-month period.

Project Context

The overall objective of this assignment is to provide strategic, technical, and logistical communication support to DG MENA. This support is crucial for the planning, development, and implementation of day-to-day communication activities, with the aim of strengthening the visibility, outreach, and impact of the European Union's policies, initiatives, and partnerships across the Middle East, North Africa, and the Gulf region.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate communication materials, reports, publications, presentations, and other institutional documents.
• Provide interpretation services during meetings, workshops, conferences, webinars, and stakeholder consultations.
• Ensure linguistic accuracy, consistency, and cultural appropriateness of all translated content.
• Support the preparation and review of multilingual communication materials.
• Collaborate with communication teams to ensure clear and effective messaging for target audiences.
• Assist with terminology management and maintain consistency across project documentation.
• Support multilingual communication efforts during project events and outreach activities.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of general experience in translation or interpretation.
• At least 1 year of specific experience working with communication or institutional content.

Engagement Details

This role is part of a pool of Non-Key Experts who will be mobilized on a short-term, on-demand basis throughout the 36-month project implementation period. The position is offered on a part-time basis, providing flexible engagement opportunities.
