The Role: Warehouse Operator

Thales Group is seeking a Warehouse Operator for a full-time position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is critical for ensuring accurate inventory management, efficient material handling, and strict adherence to safety, security, and operational protocols within the warehouse environment. The successful candidate will maintain organized storage systems, support timely dispatch and receipt of goods, and contribute to smooth, compliant warehouse operations while upholding high standards of quality and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Accurately store materials in designated locations, maintaining an organized and easily accessible inventory system.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch in a timely manner, ensuring correct items and quantities are shipped.
• Maintain up-to-date inventory records using warehouse management systems and perform regular stock counts and audits.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners safely and efficiently.
• Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and tracking of all materials and shipments.
• Follow all safety guidelines, security procedures, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist in loading and unloading goods, minimizing damage and ensuring proper handling techniques.
• Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to supervisors promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to support efficient operations.
• Coordinate with team members and other departments to meet daily operational targets and deadlines.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform physical and system transactions (ERP/SAP/Oracle) for stock movements.
• Prepare kits and materials for production / maintenance teams.
• Conduct cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly reliable professional with 5-10 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to accurate inventory management, efficient material handling, and strict adherence to safety and operational protocols. Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment and experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) such as ERP, SAP, or Oracle for stock movements are essential.
