About the Role

Leshines is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operation Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to managing daily warehouse activities, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. The specialist will coordinate inbound and outbound flows, manage shift transitions, and ensure data integrity within the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, this position involves leading a team of operators and continuously improving our pick-pack-ship processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong operational rigor, effective team leadership, and analytical thinking to drive continuous improvement across warehouse functions.

Operational Leadership and Coordination

• Prioritize daily workflows based on manager’s instructions, balancing inbound and outbound shipments to meet tight delivery deadlines.
• Lead daily briefings with warehouse staff to highlight operational priorities, address challenges, and ensure seamless shift handovers.
• Oversee the onboarding and training process for new warehouse operators, ensuring full understanding of SOPs and safety protocols.
• Act as the primary point of contact for staff leave planning and backup arrangements, maintaining uninterrupted operations.
• Maintain real-time data accuracy in the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring all transactions are recorded promptly and correctly.

Process Optimization and Inventory Management

• Identify bottlenecks in the pick-pack-ship cycle and propose actionable improvements to the Warehouse Manager.
• Schedule preventive maintenance (PM) for all warehouse equipment in line with company policy, and archive all related documentation.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports to the department head, following standardized reporting formats.
• Lead daily continuous cycle counts for each SKU to maintain 100% stock accuracy; immediately report and investigate any discrepancies.
• Conduct scheduled inventory audits and regular cycle counts to validate system data against physical stock.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage, quantity, and compliance against purchase orders (POs) and sales orders (SOs).
• Optimize warehouse slotting strategies based on item velocity, size, and storage requirements to reduce picker travel time and improve efficiency.

Safety, Compliance, and Facility Oversight

• Ensure 100% compliance of all warehouse staff with company EHS policies; coordinate and document regular safety training sessions.
• Manage the proper storage, handling, and documentation of hazardous materials (DG) and temperature-sensitive goods, adhering to IATA and local regulations.
• Investigate and document near-misses and incidents promptly, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Enforce adherence to standard warehouse environment compliance procedures (*, 5S) and immediately report any violations or disruptions.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in warehouse operations or a related field.
• Proven experience in operational coordination, team leadership, and staff training.
• Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills for process optimization.
• Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and maintaining data integrity.
• Strong understanding of EHS policies, safety protocols, and compliance procedures (*, 5S).
• Knowledge of handling hazardous materials (DG) and temperature-sensitive goods, including IATA and local regulations.
