Zakat and Tax Manager

About the Role

Waleed Yousef Alzayyad Certified Public Accountants (HLB WYZ) is seeking a Zakat and Tax Manager to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves overseeing a portfolio of complex corporate tax, Zakat, and VAT engagements, ensuring quality, efficiency, and profitability. The manager will act as a key advisor to the Engagement Partner on intricate tax positions, structuring, and risk matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop tax teams.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, including CFOs and Tax Committees.
• Direct engagement economics, encompassing budgeting, resourcing, billing, and profitability.
• Lead complex tax audits, disputes, and negotiations with ZATCA on behalf of clients.
• Drive business development, including leading proposals and expanding existing client relationships.
• Partner with the Partner group on strategic initiatives, practice growth, and talent strategy.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Zakat and Tax management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex tax engagements and advise on intricate tax matters.
• Experience in leading and developing professional teams.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role requires collaboration with partners, senior stakeholders, and tax teams in a professional services environment.
