About the Role

Eyad Reda Law Firm LLP is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team in Riyadh. This is a full-time position requiring a professional with a strong understanding of financial record-keeping and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Compute taxes owed, prepare tax returns, and ensure timely payment.
  • Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency and adherence to accepted accounting procedures.
  • Organize and maintain financial records.
  • Develop and analyze budgets, preparing internal and external reports for management.
  • Audit financial transactions and documents.
  • Prepare and examine financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Monitor compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company policies.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Handle payroll processing and related activities, including tax withholdings and benefit deductions.
  • Prepare budgets and forecast future financial performance.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Evaluate internal controls and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Create and issue invoices to customers for products or services rendered.
  • Verify the accuracy of invoice information, including pricing, quantities, and taxes.
  • Track and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely payment from clients.
  • Send invoice reminders and follow up on overdue payments.
  • Record and maintain detailed records of all invoices and related transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in the invoicing process.
  • Prepare and file necessary tax documentation related to invoicing.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant.
  • Experience range of 5-10 years is preferred.

  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate financial information to colleagues and clients, and to resolve issues.
  • Capability to organize and manage financial documents and processes efficiently to ensure smooth business operation.
  • Skill in interpreting and analyzing financial data to provide valuable insights and support decision-making.
  • Ability to develop financial strategies, prepare budgets, and create financial forecasts to support company goals.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh.
