The Role of Accountant

Saudi Icon Company is seeking a qualified Accountant to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves managing key financial operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and tax regulations, and supporting various accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily petty cash disbursements and verify supporting documents and approvals.
• Maintain the petty cash log and balance, and prepare replenishment reports.
• Monitor expenses, ensure proper documentation, and assist with expense recording during month-end.
• Prepare VAT returns and Zakat/Income tax filings, maintaining accurate tax records and documentation.
• Review transactions to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Provide support for payroll processes.
• Manage all related party transactions, including back charges, invoicing, and reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with all company financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in accounting.
• Candidates must be Saudi nationals.
• Preference will be given to candidates who are available to join immediately.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position based in the company's offices in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
