Arabic Copywriter

About the Role

Futu Holdings is seeking an Arabic Copywriter to join Moomoo Arabia Capital in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to establishing the brand's voice within the Saudi Arabian market, focusing on financial markets, cultural nuance, and persuasive communication. The role involves shaping how Moomoo Arabia Capital resonates with local investors, from new traders to experienced market participants.

Core Responsibilities

The Arabic Copywriter will manage two primary areas of responsibility: the localization of existing content and the creation of original Arabic-first copy across a broad spectrum of marketing channels and formats.

Content Localization Tasks

• Adapt brand campaigns, product messaging, and promotional content from English to Saudi Arabic, ensuring recreation for the local context.
• Ensure financial terminology is accurate, Shariah-sensitive where necessary, and sounds natural to the local audience.
• Maintain the established brand tone of voice, described as "confident, concise, never patronizing," while effectively adapting to local cultural codes.
• Challenge source copy when direct adaptation is not suitable, proposing alternative approaches that achieve the intended strategic goal.
• Work in close collaboration with the China-based marketing team to bridge cultural and linguistic differences.

Original Content Creation Tasks

Produce original Arabic-first copy for various marketing channels and formats, including:

• Brand Advertising: Headlines, taglines, and scripts for brand campaigns across Out-of-Home (OOH), video, and social media platforms.
• Performance Advertising: Short-form ad copy for platforms such as Google, Twitter/X, TikTok, Snapchat, and Apple Search Ads.
• KOL/Influencer Content: Video scripts and talking points for collaborations with Key Opinion Leaders.
• Website & App: Content for landing pages, onboarding flows, feature descriptions, and in-app messaging.
• SEO Content: Blog posts, educational articles, and evergreen content specifically optimized for Arabic search engines.
• Social Media: Organic posts, campaign-specific copy, and content designed for community engagement.
• CRM: Push notifications, email sequences, and SMS messages, crafted with a respectful and non-transactional tone.

Required Experience

Candidates for this full-time Arabic Copywriter position are expected to have 5 to 10 years of experience in professional copywriting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong background in creating persuasive content, particularly within contexts that demand cultural and linguistic adaptation, and an understanding of financial markets.
