About the Role

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a Saudi National Architect Inspector to join its supervision team. This is a full-time, project-based role located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will contribute to a high-impact development project, ensuring architectural and engineering plans are executed to standard.

Project Context

This position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic and fast-paced project environment. The Architect Inspector will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, contributing expertise to the successful delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure all construction activities adhere to approved architectural and engineering plans.
Supervise the implementation of structural and architectural components, verifying compliance with design specifications and project standards.
Monitor structural elements during construction to uphold safety, integrity, and stability requirements.
Collaborate with structural engineers to resolve any structural concerns or discrepancies encountered on-site.
Participate in the evaluation and selection of construction materials and systems, ensuring they meet both architectural and structural criteria.
Conduct routine inspections of materials to confirm quality and adherence to project specifications.
Work closely with architects and design professionals to address and resolve design-related issues during construction.
Provide input on construction details to ensure consistency with the overall design intent.
Review and update construction documentation, including drawings and specifications, to reflect approved changes and modifications.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date as-built drawings for future reference and project close-out.

Qualifications and Experience

Must be a Saudi National.
A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in architectural inspection or supervision roles.

Working Environment

This role is integral to a project-based team, operating within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The Architect Inspector will be based on-site in Riyadh, working alongside various engineering and design disciplines.
