Ghobash Group is seeking an Assistant Accountant for Tawazon, a company established in 1992. Tawazon specializes in supplying raw materials to diverse industries, including paint and ink, construction chemicals, packaging, fiberglass, plastics, rubber, food, and polyurethane. The company delivers products from their countries of origin or from warehouses in Dubai, Riyadh, Jeddah, Jakarta, Durban, Mumbai Chennai, and Nairobi, while also providing logistics services for leading petrochemical manufacturers in Saudi Arabia.

Role Summary

We are looking for a Saudi National to join our team in Riyadh as a Full-time Assistant Accountant. This role is responsible for executing core financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, ledger management, reconciliations, and compliance. The Assistant Accountant ensures financial accuracy, timely reporting, and supports decision-making through financial insights. This position requires precision, integrity, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records, invoices, and ledgers.
• Coordinate daily accounting-related operations to support warehouse department activities.
• Manage general ledger entries, ensuring journal accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Reconcile bank accounts, vendor statements, and customer accounts.
• Support payroll processing and inter-department cost allocations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
• 0-1 year of relevant experience.
