About the Role

Deloitte Middle East is seeking an Assistant Manager for Audit in the Audit & Assurance division, specializing in the Financial Services Industry (FSI) in Riyadh. This full-time role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience and involves contributing to audit engagements within a professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand key statistics and industry matters of the entity before engagement, including reviewing prior year financial statements and audit documentation.
• Coordinate with management, experts, and specialists for key deliverables and due dates.
• Track findings of work performed and follow up on the impact of work by other team members.
• Apply guidance material to ensure professional skepticism in procedures, evidence, and conclusions.
• Sign off appropriately on work performed and reviewed, ensuring completion of checklists and procedures.
• Contribute to project planning, identifying audit priorities for earlier execution.
• Prepare and review documentation, anticipating reviewer questions and including relevant facts, analysis, and professional judgments.
• Encourage professional skepticism and a questioning mindset within the team.
• Document objectivity, independence, and continuance decisions, ensuring sufficient inquiries and captured information.
• Verify that engagement staff possess adequate technical and industry knowledge.
• Apply AI in an audit context to improve efficiency and quality, including prompt engineering fundamentals and structured problem-solving.
• Exercise professional skepticism when using AI-generated outputs, validating accuracy and appropriateness.
• Understand responsible AI expectations in professional services, including governance, confidentiality, data integrity, and use of firm-approved AI tools.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in audit, preferably within the Financial Services Industry.
• Demonstrated commitment to personal learning and development.
• Ability to understand expectations and demonstrate personal accountability for performance.
• Active focus on developing effective communication and relationship-building skills.
• Understanding of how daily work contributes to team and business priorities.
