About the Role

Red Sea Global is seeking an Assistant Manager for DevCo Strategic Planning and Performance. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, involves leading the strategic direction and operational excellence of DevCo Operations. The position requires ownership of the entire strategy-to-execution chain, from strategy formulation to performance management and the oversight of strategic initiatives.

Role Purpose and Context

The Assistant Manager will serve as a key liaison between operational teams and executive management, translating complex performance data into actionable insights and business decisions. This role is central to fostering continuous improvement through structured business analysis, scenario planning, and portfolio prioritization, ensuring alignment with broader Group objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development, periodic refresh, and review of the DevCo Operations business strategy, ensuring adaptability.
Oversee comprehensive annual and three-year business planning cycles, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to integrate financial and operational objectives.
Lead the preparation, submission, and iterative review of the annual budget in partnership with Finance and Financial Planning & Analysis teams.
Maintain and continuously update the Strategic Initiatives Register, tracking progress, milestones, and benefit realization.
Conduct detailed operational efficiency analyses, identify areas for improvement, and develop business cases for enhancement initiatives.
Design and manage a strategic performance framework, producing Quarterly Business Review analyses to inform strategic decisions.
Deliver comprehensive business analyses, including options appraisal, scenario modeling, and benchmarking against industry best practices.
Prepare executive-level reports, papers, and presentations that translate data and analyses into clear strategic decisions for senior leadership.
Ensure continuous alignment of DevCo Operations strategy, business plans, and performance metrics with the overarching Group direction and interrelated DevCo functions.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 7-10 years of relevant professional experience.
Demonstrated leadership in strategic planning and performance management within an operational context.
Proven ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and business decisions.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role involves working within a dynamic environment, collaborating with various operational teams and executive management to drive strategic objectives.
