About the Role

EY is seeking to recruit an Assistant Manager / Manager to join our Business Consulting SC & Operations team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this full-time role, you will leverage your analytical insights to enhance the global business performance of our clients, contributing to improvements in their supply chain and operations processes.

Role Context and Responsibilities

As the supply chain and operations landscape becomes increasingly complex due to evolving markets and rapid technological advancements, clients recognize the critical importance of effective and sustainable operational management. As a supply chain and operations professional, you will work as part of a high-performing team to deliver exceptional client service. Your responsibilities will include developing innovative commercial insights for clients, adapting methodologies to suit operational team and cultural needs, and contributing to thought leadership. You will actively contribute to improving operational efficiency through both client projects and internal initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving client global business performance through analytical insight.
  • Improving client planning, design, procurement, sourcing, manufacturing, fulfillment, operations, and services processes.
  • Creating innovative commercial insights for clients.
  • Adapting methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs.
  • Contributing to thought leadership within the supply chain and operations domain.
  • Actively contributing to improving operational efficiency on projects and internal initiatives.

Skills and Experience Required

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

  • Strong Supply Chain Experience with a focus on Supply Chain Transformation, typically 4 to 7 years of work experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in at least one core supply chain management domain (*, enterprise asset management, logistics/fulfillment, planning/inventory, manufacturing, or procurement).
  • Prior consulting experience is preferred. Experience in Supply Chain Transformation within industry or sector is also accepted.
  • A strong academic record with relevant Supply Chain education and/or qualifications.
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
  • Willingness to travel across the region.

Desirable Attributes

Ideally, candidates will also demonstrate:

  • Familiarity with leading supply chain solutions and ERP systems.
  • Experience or a strong interest in Digital solutions and trends within supply chain.
  • Good entrepreneurial flair, with the ability to identify business opportunities and cross-sell services and products.
  • Arabic language proficiency is preferred.

Candidate Profile
