About the Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia (ex-Souq) is seeking an Associate Marketplace Consultant for the Softlines Category to join its Third-Party Marketplace team in Riyadh. This full-time role is for a business development professional who will contribute to the growth of small and medium-sized businesses by enabling them to offer their products to millions of Amazon customers. The position involves solving complex business problems with strategic impact for selling partners within the e-commerce environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and recruit high-potential merchants for targeted Brands & Product Types through phone, email, or field visits.
• Identify key selection addition opportunities for targeted brands/product types by spotting popular trends to manage the portfolio toward a growth plan.
• Implement and track metrics to record the success and quality of sellers within your portfolio, using these metrics to guide work and uncover opportunities.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of Amazon tools and services to ensure their efficient adoption by sellers.
• Work closely with selling partners, educating them about Amazon’s high standards for Delivery and Customer Experience.

Business Development and Partner Engagement

This role focuses on new business acquisition, involving lead generation, phone/email-based business evaluation, and supporting the launch of new sellers. A core aspect is building strong relationships to explore mutually beneficial opportunities with partners, helping them expand their business on Amazon. Additionally, the consultant will incorporate seller feedback into new opportunities to enhance Amazon’s products, services, processes, systems, and tools for all third-party sellers, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 1+ years of sales experience.

Essential Skills and Attributes

Success in this position requires superior analytical, communication, and presentation skills. The Associate Marketplace Consultant will operate autonomously within a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment, taking full control and responsibility for achieving business objectives.
