About the Automotive Designer Role

8 Bridges Company is seeking an Automotive Designer for a contract, project-based freelance engagement based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is focused on leading the exterior and interior design for the prototype phase of a new premium performance SSV developed specifically for the GCC market. Candidates with 0-1 years of experience in automotive design are encouraged to apply.

Project Overview

The company is currently developing a new premium performance SSV, which is being benchmarked against leading platforms within its segment. The Automotive Designer will play a critical role in establishing the vehicle's aesthetic and functional design language during the initial prototype phase of this project.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the full vehicle design language, encompassing exterior styling, cockpit layout, and detailing across four distinct variants.
• Produce concept sketches, execute 3D surfacing, and generate photorealistic renders.
• Collaborate closely with the engineering team to integrate design concepts within a defined technical package, for which the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) is complete.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A portfolio demonstrating experience in automotive, powersports, or off-road vehicle design.
• Proficiency in industry-standard surfacing tools such as Alias, Rhino, Blender, or equivalent software.
• Experience level: 0-1 years in a relevant design field.

Work Arrangement

This is a project-based freelance engagement. The role offers flexibility with a remote-friendly work setup. Compensation will be determined on a project basis, reflecting the scope and deliverables of the design work.
