About Initial Facilities Management

Initial Facilities Management is seeking a dedicated professional for a full-time role in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This position is integral to ensuring the highest standards of operational excellence and compliance within the organization, contributing to its continuous improvement initiatives.

The Role: Benchmarking & Accreditation Auditor

The Benchmarking & Accreditation Auditor will be responsible for evaluating and enhancing business practices, ensuring adherence to international standards, and driving continuous improvement across various management systems. This role requires a proactive approach to auditing and a strong commitment to compliance, with a requirement of 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Continually improve the business by evaluating improvement scope, comparing current performance with previous periods or competitor practices, and establishing new standards.
  • Comply with ISO 41001 requirements by establishing defined processes for the Total Facilities Management (TFM) system.
  • Develop an Asset Management System (AMS) in accordance with international standard ISO 55001.
  • Adopt a disciplined approach to maximize value from assets and deliver strategic objectives by managing facilities assets over their whole life cycle.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction through improved performance and control of service delivery to required standards.
  • Develop and implement asset management plans for critical assets to inform capital investment prioritization.
  • Prepare for, attend, and report on ISO and Client Audits, submitting corrective action reports for raised observations and non-conformances.
  • Prepare and perform Internal Audits, including Standard Procedures (SPs), to ensure effective implementation and compliance of ISO Standards.
  • Be available and responsive to all requests or inquiries related to the area of expertise.

Energy Management Systems Focus

A core aspect of this role involves the development and management of energy systems, including:

  • Developing an Energy Management System (EMS) generally in accordance with the recognized international standard ISO 50001.
  • Adopting a systematic Plan-Do-Check-Act approach to enable the TFM to establish, implement, maintain, and improve energy management within their respective areas.
  • Improving energy performance from an initial baseline.
  • Minimizing energy costs and waste without affecting operations and performance.
  • Providing a framework of requirements for energy efficiency, which includes:
    • Developing a policy for more efficient use of energy.
    • Fixing targets and objectives to meet the policy.
    • Demonstrating year-on-year energy reductions on a like-for-like basis.
    • Using data to better understand and make decisions about energy use.
    • Measuring the results and reviewing how well the policy works.
    • Continually improving energy management practices.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a related auditing or compliance role.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
