About the Role

Seder Group is seeking a qualified BMS Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and involves designing, implementing, and maintaining Building Management Systems to ensure optimal building performance and energy efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Engineering: Review project specifications, architectural drawings, and MEP designs to draft BMS control schematics, network architecture, and I/O point schedules. Select appropriate field devices, controllers, sensors, actuators, valves, and communication gateways based on project requirements.
• Programming & System Integration: Develop, write, and test custom control logic, sequences of operation, and graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for BMS software platforms. Integrate third-party equipment and subsystems using standard industry protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, KNX, and MQTT.
• Testing, Commissioning & Site Work: Conduct point-to-point checkouts, loop tuning, calibration, and functional performance testing of direct digital control (DDC) systems. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system communication faults, hardware failures, or software logic errors on-site. Oversee electrical wiring and installation performed by subcontractors to ensure compliance with design drawings.
• Energy Optimization & Maintenance: Analyze building operational data to optimize energy usage, identify inefficiencies, and adjust schedules and setpoints. Execute routine preventive maintenance, system backups, software updates, and hardware upgrades.
• Documentation & Client Training: Prepare detailed Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals, as-built drawings, functional test reports, and system schematics. Train facility operators, building managers, and maintenance personnel on everyday system operations and troubleshooting procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in Building Management Systems (BMS) engineering.
• Demonstrated expertise in BMS design, programming, integration, and commissioning.
• Proficiency with industry-standard communication protocols (*, BACnet, Modbus).

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, contributing to projects that support the Kingdom's growth initiatives.
