Business Analyst (m/f/d)

About the Role

Halian | Managed Services, Recruitment Agency & Contract Staffing is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on supporting strategic business and technology initiatives, specifically within Mortgage and Home Finance products. The successful candidate will serve as a crucial link between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring that business requirements are accurately captured, analyzed, and translated into effective solutions.

Role Context

This position is designed for a professional with a background in the banking or financial services sector, particularly with hands-on experience in mortgage lending, home financing, loan origination, and related customer journeys. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the Saudi Arabian market, contributing to the delivery of key projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across various business and technology functions.
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings to understand current processes, identify pain points, and define future-state requirements.
• Create detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, process maps, and use cases.
• Analyze mortgage and home finance products, processes, and customer journeys to identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, Solution Architects, Developers, and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support solution design discussions and ensure proposed solutions align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including the preparation of test scenarios, support for test execution, and defect management.
• Monitor project deliverables to ensure requirements are delivered accurately and within agreed timelines.
• Assist with change management, process improvement, and business transformation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with relevant banking regulations, policies, and governance standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Strong background in Mortgage and Home Finance products.
• Experience within the banking or financial services sector.
• Hands-on exposure to mortgage lending, home financing, loan origination, and related customer journeys.
• Familiarity with the Saudi Arabian market is preferred.
