About MRG and the Business Development Executive Role

MRG (Medical Regulations Gate) is a specialist regulatory affairs consultancy and Authorized Representative (AR) firm. The company assists medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers in registering and marketing their products across Saudi Arabia and the broader region. As demand for services grows, MRG is expanding its commercial team to engage more manufacturers globally.

This full-time Business Development Executive role, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is focused on expanding MRG's client base. The executive will engage medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers, including those active in the Kingdom and international entities seeking market entry, to offer regulatory consulting and Authorized Representative services. The position also involves serving as an on-the-ground presence for local distributors and partners within Saudi Arabia. This is a hunter role, primarily conducting meetings online, with a focus on initiating conversations and progressing manufacturers towards becoming MRG clients. The role requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and engage medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers, including international manufacturers targeting Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Egypt.
• Conduct online meetings to present MRG's regulatory consulting and Authorized Representative (AR) services and their value proposition.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, from initial contact to signed agreement, maintaining a structured sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with MRG's Regulatory Affairs team, who will provide technical and regulatory expertise during client discussions.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with local distributors and partners across Saudi Arabia, including through in-person visits.
• Represent MRG at industry exhibitions, conferences, and events, including booth staffing.
• Maintain accurate records of activities, pipeline status, and forecasts within the CRM system.
• Consistently achieve targets for new regulatory and AR client acquisitions.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a confident and articulate communicator, comfortable leading online meetings and presentations. They should possess the ability to quickly grasp MRG's service offerings and effectively convey their value to clients. A self-motivated and target-driven individual with a genuine hunter's mindset for outbound prospecting is essential for this role.

Essential Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in a relevant business development or sales role.
• Willingness to travel within Saudi Arabia for distributor visits and to regional industry events.
• Eligibility to work in Saudi Arabia.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• An existing network of contacts within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or broader healthcare industry.
• Familiarity with SFDA or GCC regulatory processes, such as Authorized Representative functions, product registration, and MDMA.
• Prior experience in selling professional, consulting, or B2B services.
• Proficiency in additional languages relevant for international manufacturer outreach.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. While most client meetings are conducted online, the role requires travel within the Kingdom for local distributor and partner engagements, as well as attendance at regional industry events.
