About the Role

Extend is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on establishing the foundational sales for Extend CIP, the Cultural Intelligence Platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring new clients and managing the entire sales cycle from initial outreach to the first live campaign.

Role Overview and Objectives

This role involves driving net-new client acquisition for the Cultural Intelligence Platform. Success will be measured by platform ad spend, including secured deposits, activated accounts, and spend flowing through the platform. The Business Development Manager will also be instrumental in developing the sales playbook for future team members.

Key Responsibilities

Drive net-new platform adoption by identifying, engaging, and closing Saudi brands and agencies not currently utilizing CIP.
Manage the full sales cycle, encompassing prospecting, discovery, pitching, commercial negotiation, securing signed agreements, and obtaining the first funded deposit.
Build a robust pipeline through targeted outreach, maintaining an industry presence, and strategic account planning; ensure disciplined pipeline management and accurate forecasting.
Lead value-driven discovery sessions with senior decision-makers, including C-level stakeholders at brands and agencies.
Present and demonstrate the platform live, articulating its differentiated value against point solutions, managed services, and international alternatives.
Develop winning strategies for competitive opportunities, including responding to RFPs and leading new business pitches.
Ensure a smooth handover to Account Management upon activation, remaining engaged through initial campaigns to safeguard early spend.
Relay market and competitive intelligence to product teams to refine positioning and inform the product roadmap.
Evangelize self-serve, data-driven media planning, buying, and measurement within the Saudi market.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience.
Demonstrated ability to manage a complete sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
Experience in engaging with senior decision-makers and C-level executives.
Strong understanding of media planning, buying, and measurement, particularly in the Saudi market.
