About the Role: Wedding Cake Artist

Leylaty Group is seeking a full-time Wedding Cake Artist to join their team in Riyadh. This role focuses on designing and crafting custom wedding cakes that align with client visions and the brand's high standards, requiring a blend of artistic skill and technical baking expertise.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Wedding Cake Artist will be responsible for creating elegant, bespoke wedding cakes. This involves translating client preferences into unique designs and executing them with precision, ensuring structural integrity and visual appeal for each creation. The role demands both creative design capabilities and practical baking proficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and create stunning, bespoke wedding cakes tailored to each client's theme, style, and preferences.
• Decorate cakes using advanced techniques such as fondant sculpting, hand-painting, sugar flowers, edible lace, piping, airbrushing, and tier stacking.
• Create mood boards or sketches for client approval before production, as required by workflow.
• Stay current with trends in cake design, wedding aesthetics, and seasonal themes.
• Bake high-quality cake layers and prepare various fillings and frostings with consistency.
• Assemble multi-tier cakes, ensuring structural integrity and visual appeal.
• Manage production timelines to ensure cakes are completed and delivered on schedule.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment according to food safety standards.
• Sanitize tools, workstations, and equipment after each use.
• Handle food ingredients properly, with attention to allergies and dietary preferences if applicable.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 25 years of experience in wedding cake design or specialty cake decorating.
• A strong portfolio showcasing advanced cake decorating skills.
• Proficiency in using fondant, gum paste, buttercream, and other decorating mediums.
• Ability to design cakes with clean, professional finishes and meticulous attention to detail.
