Role Overview

Zahran Facilities Management is seeking a Chief Accountant to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to the financial operations, involving the preparation of financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and the execution of cyclical audits. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and a robust business acumen to effectively manage and contribute to the company's financial health.

Core Accounting Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and expenditures to ensure financial efficiency.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger transactions.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
• Coordinate with project managers to monitor project profitability and financial performance.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor working capital requirements.

Leadership and Team Management

• Supervise and manage the daily accounting operations of operations and maintenance projects.
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team, ensuring high performance and professional development.

Financial Compliance and Strategic Analysis

• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required financial documentation.
• Develop and improve accounting procedures and internal financial controls.
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency and cost control.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant accounting role.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills for effective team and stakeholder collaboration.
• Possession of a strong business acumen to contribute to strategic financial decisions.

Work Environment
