The Role: Civil Team Leader – Urban Development

SJ Group is seeking an experienced Civil Team Leader – Urban Development to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves leading the technical design of civil infrastructure for urban development and masterplanning projects. The focus will be on delivering coordinated engineering solutions for roads, grading, drainage, and utilities, ensuring compliance with relevant design standards and authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the civil infrastructure design for urban development, masterplanning, and large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Oversee the technical design of roads, highways, grading, stormwater drainage, and wet and dry utilities.
• Review engineering drawings, design calculations, specifications, and technical reports to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Ensure civil infrastructure designs comply with applicable engineering standards, design codes, and local authority requirements.
• Coordinate civil infrastructure design with multidisciplinary engineering teams to achieve integrated design solutions.
• Identify and resolve complex civil engineering and infrastructure design issues.
• Oversee civil engineering design deliverables across concept, preliminary, and detailed design stages.
