About the Role

King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Riyadh is seeking a Consultant, Genitourinary & Gastrointestinal Oncology. This full-time position involves the diagnosis and treatment of medical diseases and conditions within the specified oncology fields, ensuring the provision of high-quality medical care in accordance with established medical staff bylaws, rules, regulations, and hospital policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care across all aspects of Genitourinary & Gastrointestinal Oncology, adhering to approved clinical privileges.
• Deliver timely consultations for inpatients, outpatients, emergency room cases, and other patient areas as requested, within the organization's prescribed timeframes.
• Ensure the timely completion, accuracy, and eligibility of medical reports.
• Provide on-call services, maintaining availability and response times in accordance with hospital policy.
• Conduct daily morning rounds to identify patients ready for discharge, ensuring discharge orders are processed within 24 hours prior to discharge.
• Perform other assigned clinical responsibilities related to Genitourinary & Gastrointestinal Oncology.

Professional Development and Education

• Provide orientation, bedside training, and supervision to interns, residents, and fellows as assigned.
• Participate actively in the Department’s educational activities and training programs.
• Engage in national and international medical conferences to stay abreast of advancements.
• Maintain and enhance professional knowledge and fulfill continuing education requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field. Specific qualifications required for a Consultant position will align with the hospital's medical staff bylaws and credentialing criteria.

This role is based at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, operating on a full-time basis.
