About the Role

King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Riyadh is seeking a Consultant, Rheumatology to join their team. This full-time position involves providing expert medical care, diagnosis, and treatment for rheumatological conditions in accordance with established medical bylaws and hospital policies. The role requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care across all aspects of Rheumatology, adhering to approved clinical privileges.
• Conduct inpatient and emergency room consultations upon request, ensuring timely responses as per hospital policy.
• Ensure medical records are completed accurately, legibly, and in a timely manner.
• Participate in on-call services, maintaining availability and response times in line with hospital guidelines.
• Perform daily morning rounds to identify patients ready for transfer or discharge, ensuring orders are written 24 hours in advance.
• Undertake any other clinical responsibilities related to the specialty as assigned.

Professional Development and Education

• Provide orientation, bedside training, and supervision to interns, residents, and fellows as required.
• Actively participate in the Department’s educational activities and training programs.
• Engage in national and international medical conferences to stay abreast of advancements.
• Maintain and enhance professional knowledge and fulfill continuing education requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this Consultant position should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience in Rheumatology. The role requires adherence to current medical staff bylaws, rules, regulations, and hospital policies and procedures.
