About SAB and the Role

SAB is seeking a Cost Control Support Officer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to maintaining financial oversight and ensuring the efficient management of costs within the organization.

Role Overview

The Cost Control Support Officer provides essential assistance across various cost control functions. This role involves supporting system development, reviewing financial documentation, conducting analyses, and contributing to the automation of reporting processes. The officer will play a key part in ensuring financial accuracy and compliance with internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Support automation initiatives, system development, and ensure thorough testing and maintenance.
• Assist in the review of cost Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs).
• Provide support in the review of contracts to ensure adherence to cost control principles.
• Contribute to the review of General Ledger (GL) entries.
• Build informative dashboards and automate internal reports to enhance data visibility.
• Review Policies, Procedures, Control documents, Financial Instruction Manuals (FIMs), and Departmental Instruction Manuals (DIMS).

Financial Analysis and Forecasting

• Conduct analysis, reporting, and forecasting for Capital Expenditure (Capex), Fixed Assets (FA), and Work In Progress (WIP).
• Proactively engage with business units to ensure the regular capitalization of fixed assets.
• Assist the Finance Relationship team with various tasks.
• Support cost mapping activities and related reporting requirements.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess 2 to 5 years of experience in a cost control, finance, or a related analytical role. A strong foundation in financial principles, reporting, and a proactive approach to process improvement are essential for success in this position.
