About the Cyber Security Consultant Role

Site is seeking a Cyber Security Consultant to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to safeguarding organizational information systems, networks, and data through expert cybersecurity controls and strategic advisory.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Cyber Security Consultant is responsible for assessing, designing, implementing, and advising on robust cybersecurity measures. This role supports secure operations by proactively identifying potential risks, recommending effective mitigation strategies, and ensuring strict alignment with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and established organizational security policies.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments, security reviews, and gap analyses across infrastructure, applications, and operational environments.
Design and recommend security architectures, controls, and frameworks aligned with industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.
Support the implementation and optimization of security solutions including firewalls, endpoint protection, SIEM, DLP, IAM, and vulnerability management tools.
Perform security assessments, including configuration reviews, compliance checks, and technical validations.
Identify security risks, assess their impact and likelihood, and provide clear, actionable remediation recommendations.
Support incident response activities, including investigation, containment guidance, and post-incident reviews.
Advise stakeholders on secure system design, change management, and security best practices.
Prepare and present security reports, risk registers, and executive summaries for management and clients.
Support compliance and audit activities by providing evidence, documentation, and technical explanations.
Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity trends, and proactively recommend improvements.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of experience in cybersecurity consulting or a related field. Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing security architectures and controls, along with a strong understanding of industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS, is required. Experience with various security solutions including firewalls, endpoint protection, SIEM, DLP, IAM, and vulnerability management tools is essential.

The successful consultant will have strong analytical skills to conduct thorough risk assessments and gap analyses. Effective communication and presentation skills are necessary for advising stakeholders and preparing comprehensive security reports and executive summaries.
