The Role of Cyber Security Specialist

The Cyber Security Specialist plays a crucial role in safeguarding Aloula Aviation's information systems and data. This position involves supporting the development and implementation of comprehensive cybersecurity measures, including standards, assessments, and various security controls. The specialist will contribute to maintaining a secure operational environment by addressing vulnerabilities and responding to threats.

Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities for this role include:

• Developing and maintaining cybersecurity standards and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.
• Conducting a range of cybersecurity assessments, such as Maturity Assessments, Risk Assessments, Compliance Assessments, Vulnerability Assessments, Social Engineering Assessments, and Penetration Testing.
• Protecting data and information systems from unauthorized access, modification, or destruction.
• Monitoring and controlling access to critical information assets.
• Supporting the development of cybersecurity metrics and tracking the company's cybersecurity performance.
• Implementing cybersecurity awareness programs and conducting training for employees.
• Supporting incident management and response activities, including investigation and forensics.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for the Cyber Security Specialist position should possess 5 to 10 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or a related field. This experience should demonstrate a strong understanding and practical application of cybersecurity principles and practices relevant to the responsibilities outlined.
