About the Role

Penta Consulting is seeking a Data Modeler for a contract position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience, specializing in data modeling within banking and financial services domains.

Core Skill Requirements

• Teradata Data Modeling (Expert Level): Requires 10+ years of experience in Teradata Data Warehousing and Data Modeling, with strong expertise in Logical & Physical Data Modeling. Experience in enterprise-scale data warehouse implementations and expertise in dimensional and normalized modeling techniques are essential. A strong understanding of data governance, metadata, and data quality, along with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable data models, is also necessary.
• CLDM (Communications Logical Data Model) – Expert Level: Deep expertise in CLDM implementation within banking environments, including strong knowledge of banking domains such as Customer, Billing, Product, Network, Usage, and CRM. Experience customizing CLDM and mapping banking source systems into CLDM structures, coupled with a strong understanding of banking enterprise data integration standards, is required.
• FSDM (Financial Services Data Model) – Deep Knowledge: Strong hands-on experience with FSDM implementation and a deep understanding of banking and financial services domains, including Accounts, Loans, Payments, Risk, Compliance, and Regulatory Reporting. Experience designing enterprise financial data models aligned with FSDM standards and strong knowledge of financial data governance, integration, and reporting requirements are expected.
• Logical Data Modeling: Strong expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, with experience in ER modeling, normalization, and enterprise information architecture. Hands-on experience with modeling tools such as ERwin and the ability to define data standards, naming conventions, and governance practices are also required.

Experience in Banking and Financial Services

• Banking Domain: Strong banking industry experience is preferred, including knowledge of banking KPIs, subscriber lifecycle, and usage analytics. Experience with banking operational and analytical systems is also beneficial.
• Financial Services Domain: Strong banking and financial services experience is preferred, with an understanding of enterprise banking systems and regulatory requirements. Experience supporting compliance, analytics, and financial reporting initiatives is also valued.

Data Governance and Quality

The role requires experience in data governance and data quality frameworks. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of data lineage, metadata management, and compliance standards.
