About the Role

stc is seeking a Data Science Assistant Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves identifying, designing, and delivering cross-functional analytics use cases to enhance decision-making across various business and functional units. The role holder will ensure the effective allocation of resources for advanced analytics projects and provide necessary support to business units.

Job Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to develop and implement analytical solutions that support effective business decision-making. This includes creating dashboards, reports, tools, and solutions, as well as conducting real-time, interactive, and predictive analyses. The Data Science Assistant Manager will operate in accordance with established business policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Select and lead a team of advanced analytics experts and data scientists (SWAT team) to address cross-sector and strategic requests.
Ensure collaboration between the SWAT team and business unit-specific insight specialists and data scientists to provide additional capacity or guidance for internal analytical needs.
Support business and functional units with complex and standardized analytics requests by allocating analytical resources from the SWAT team.
Propose cross-functional analytics use cases based on available data and the needs of business and functional units.
Prioritize the implementation of cross-functional analyses based on an assessment of their value creation potential for stc.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a dynamic environment focused on advanced analytics and data science.
