About WSP and the Role

WSP is seeking a Design Manager - Structural & Civil to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves supporting the successful design and delivery of major development projects within a growing developer portfolio. Role Purpose

The Design Manager will oversee structural and civil engineering design activities. This includes ensuring that engineering solutions are fully coordinated, practical, and aligned with overall project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage structural and civil engineering consultants and their design deliverables.
• Review engineering reports, calculations, drawings, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate interfaces between buildings, infrastructure, utilities, and public realm elements.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Participate in design reviews, risk workshops, and value engineering exercises.
• Monitor consultant performance and adherence to programme commitments.
• Support technical decision-making throughout the design development process.
• Coordinate engineering inputs across multidisciplinary project teams.
• Assist with tender reviews and construction support activities when required.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated experience on large-scale mixed-use, residential, commercial, or hospitality developments.
