DevSecOps / Cloud Engineer

About the Role

Tatal is seeking a DevSecOps / Cloud Engineer to manage its production infrastructure and ensure the security, reliability, and proper monitoring of all shipped products. This is a part-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience.

Role Context

This role focuses on securing, deploying, monitoring, and preparing products for production before they reach clients. The development workflow at Tatal is heavily AI-assisted, and this position is distinct from a traditional developer role.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage production infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Design secure cloud architecture, including networking, VPCs, firewalls, and access controls.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Manage infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred).
• Deploy and secure Docker containers.
• Enforce IAM and least-privilege access.
• Manage secrets and environment variables securely.
• Set up logging, monitoring, alerting, and audit trails.
• Oversee backups, disaster recovery, and production reliability.
• Integrate security scanning into CI/CD pipelines.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, and/or Alibaba Cloud.
• Solid experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Experience with Docker and container security.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking and IAM.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cloudflare, WAF, and DDoS protection.

Work Environment

This is a part-time position located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within an AI-assisted development environment, focusing on infrastructure and security aspects.
