The Direct Investments Manager Role

Takamol Ventures is seeking an experienced Direct Investments Manager to lead venture capital investment activities. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, involves overseeing the entire investment lifecycle from sourcing and evaluation to execution, portfolio management, and value creation. The manager will play a central role in identifying investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, preparing investment recommendations, and managing portfolio companies. This role supports the overall development of the venture capital platform and requires 5-10 years of experience in relevant investment or operational fields, coupled with strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with founders, venture capital firms, accelerators, incubators, and ecosystem partners.
• Source high-quality investment opportunities aligned with Takamol Ventures’ investment strategy.
• Build and manage a pipeline of investment opportunities.
• Conduct market, competitive, commercial, financial, and strategic analyses of potential investments.
• Build financial models and valuation analyses.
• Prepare comprehensive investment memos.
• Lead negotiations of investment terms and transaction documentation alongside external counsel.
• Monitor portfolio company performance and key operating metrics.
• Support portfolio companies through strategic introductions, partnerships, business development opportunities, and fundraising assistance.
• Coordinate value creation initiatives across Takamol’s ecosystem.
• Prepare portfolio performance updates and investor reports.

Educational Background

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• MBA, CFA, CAIA, or other relevant professional qualifications are preferred.

Professional Experience and Skills

• 5–10 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, growth equity, investment banking, management consulting, startup accelerators or incubators, entrepreneurship, or other investment and innovation-related roles.
• Demonstrated experience evaluating, executing, and managing investment transactions.
• Strong understanding of startup ecosystems, venture capital dynamics, and technology-enabled business models.
• Experience preparing investment memoranda, financial models, valuation analyses, and investment committee materials.
• Experience managing due diligence processes.
