About the Role

Tractebel is seeking a Document Controller to manage document control functions for thermal power generation projects. This full-time position will be based in the client’s offices in Jeddah or Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires 5-10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

Track the submission of design deliverables according to the Master Document List (MDL).
Update the MDL based on the review status of documents.
Ensure the timely dissemination of deliverables to relevant parties, supported by the project technical team.
Monitor the document submission schedule and expedite comments from the project team.
Maintain comprehensive records of all submissions, approvals, revisions, and correspondences related to engineering deliverables.
Provide inputs for progress reports on the status of engineering deliverables, highlighting key achievements, issues, and upcoming milestones.

Required Experience and Skills

Candidates should possess the necessary experience and skillset to lead and monitor document control functions within large power plants or similar infrastructure projects. The role requires complete knowledge of discipline-related documents and a proven track record in managing submittals and coordinating with discipline engineers for follow-up, issuance, receiving, sending submittals, and archiving project documents in the system.

Experience: 5-10 years in document control, preferably in large power plants or infrastructure projects.
Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of discipline-related documents.
Coordination: Ability to coordinate effectively with discipline engineers for document processes.
Archiving: Proficiency in archiving project documents within established systems.
